A Little Inspiration
A Little Inspiration
Troy was born into a long-serving missionary family with Youth With a Mission. His family focused on the Pacific Islands and Asia. Troy received a missions calling and a desire to follow in his parent's footsteps. He pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries at YWAM's University of the Nations.
While studying for his degree, he visited Serbia during the war, Indonesia when Muslim radicals bombed Christian churches, and Africa where he met and fell in love with his wife Alisa. Her passion for a new wave of abolitionists inspired her to help start The Freedom Project, a branch of YWAM Slavic Ministries that is dedicated to see the end of modern day sexual slavery. Troy serves as the international ambassador and Alisa as the international director and co-founder. Alisa and Troy have ministered in more than 90 countries. Today they are based out of North America. Troy continue to teach internationally trying to infuse passion in others to GO! Through his travel and networking Troy is able to serve as a YWAM consultant. Together they also visit the field to encourage former students they have sent, and serve internationally where needed. Of all their accomplishment and adventures nothing compares to the miracles of their 3 children Kai, Noe, and Luka.
Troy’s Bio
One of the greatest obstacles to spiritual growth in western culture is time! We are too busy to find a quiet moment for meditation, reflection or we lake a little inspiration. We find ourselves at the end of the yet another week or month with unfulfilled ideas or resolutions. We have hardly touched our bible and that book we have been meaning to read collects another layer of dust. This space will provide short video, links for pod casts, inspirational blogs and quotes. Listen on your way to work or watch a short clip with your morning coffee. Read a little something to chew on or meditate during the week. See what happens when you give just moments a day.
