In Moldova women are often recruited to go work in Russia.  One lady we met was tricked and forced to work in an old factory were she was a sex slave.  The factory was used to traffic drugs and breed babies.  Our Moldovan friend gave birth to two babies before she was rescued.

A Dream Maker

I am a designer working to create trendy, sustainable items that the buyer will truly enjoy. With a vintage flair, I use many up-cycled materials and each item is handmade.

I strive to empower women that have been rescued out of human trafficking. With each item sold, proceeds go towards holistic care services and vocational training.

I partner with different organizations around the world that are on the ground working with these girls. I help to raise awareness, build bridges and provide opportunities for people in desperate need. I truly believe that we can work together to help make dreams come true for those who have been enslaved.

Woman and children are sold against their will for the purpose of sexual exploitation.  Children are kidnapped or sold by their parents.  Woman are promised well paying jobs as models, waitresses or dancers. The truth...they are tricked into an 32 billion dollar criminal industry that buys and sells human beings.

The Freedom Project is a branch under YWAM Slavic Ministries that primarily functions to gather resources to help the anti-trafficking efforts in Eastern Europe and Russia. We assist with communication logistics, raise funds to help complete projects, and spread awareness of ministry needs in Eastern Europe.

SHINE Network was created as a resource for YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and partners working in the field of anti-trafficking in Europe to be able to connect, glean from one another, encourage each other, and partner for heightened success. The main goal is to harnessing lessons learned on the field and sharing those with each other, along with resources to help each other succeed.

Globally connected, united with one purpose: to free those held fast by slavery, and investing in their lives to help them reach their God-given potential, we gather every year and a half to listen, learn and grow together in this fight to end human trafficking across Europe and the ends of the earth.

We have Drop-In Centers opening up all over Europe with a focus on reaching out to the women in the local red light district in the cities.  As friendships are emerging, the teams are seeking to help transition the women out of the sex industry and they also have a desire to reach out to men and the broader society to bring truth in the realm of intimacy and sexuality. They dream of offering an alternative to those trapped in prostitution by providing job training alongside a healing community.

In Moldova, a little country that has an epidemic of human trafficking, 1 million people missing.  We have partnered with local NGO’s and ministries to help provide basic needs for those who have been rescued from the sex-industry.  We have helped open a sewing center for young girls to have a sustainable income as well as providing a greenhouse and chicken farm for a family whose mother was held in slavery for three years in a breeding factory.

We partner with a small team of amazing women in Russia who have been working with the orphanages in Moscow.  80% of the children who graduate from the orphanages are vulnerable and will be trafficked.  Our team goes to the orphanages as well as takes some of the girls out to provide further education, as well as gives them life skills.

They also help victims who are trafficked into forced labor.

Global

We partner with and support a team in Russia. They raise awareness of potential medical dangers, offering informational brochures, free medical tests and condoms. They work to help women transition out of the sex industry by helping them get legal documents as well as partnering with the International Organization of Migration to get them back to their home country.

They hope to open a shelter to house girls who choose to leave the industry. They have helped countless of women return to their families!

Based in Riga, Latvia, Freedom 61 began in 2010 as a multi-faceted ministry reaching out to girls on the streets. They opened a cafe offering coffee, tea, soup, baked goods and a warm place for these women to come. There they are able to build relationships and offer hope through partnerships with local legal, social and counseling professionals. They work to raise awareness and promote prevention in schools and orphanages as well as reach out to sex tourists. In 2015, they officially opened their women’s center, offering them resources and shelter as well as a one-year program including rehabilitation, counseling, and life skills training in preparation for a new life off of the streets.
